Hi I'm Ryan

I'm from Orem, UT. I was a missionary in the Carlsbad, CA mission. I love genetics, anime, and playing games. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing board games and card games. I love Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Code Geass. I love and know a lot of sciences, including family history, astronomy, physics, chemistry, genetics, biotechnology, and biology in general. I am a Genetic and Biotechnology major, and a Bioinformatics double major. I was a missionary serving in the California Carlsbad mission, and I loved it. It was an amazing experience to see others come closer to Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Although, originally it was because I grew up in an LDS family, I am a Mormon/ Latter Day Saint because I know that this is Christ's True Church on the Earth again today. I have great faith in my Heavenly Father, knowing that with Him, I can do anything he wants me to. I know that my family, who I love with my whole heart, can be together forever, even with our imperfections. I know that we are all Children of God, even though I've always known that to be true, it never ceases to amaze me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what I've been taught, to love and to help others and live the commandments. I was a missionary in the California Carlsbad mission. I loved being out there, teaching people the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because I knew it could make them happier and that they could be sealed with their families for eternity. When you see others come closer to Christ, you want to see it again and again. Missionary work is awesome! It doesn't take much to share the gospel, but you have to reach outside yourself. Recently, I've thought a lot about how much knowledge influences us. At least, there are many examples around us of people who ignorantly say or do something. When this happens, conflict arises. That's why it is my belief that people should learn about others. There is a variety of ways to do this, it's up to you.
