Hi I'm William

I enjoy life. I love helping people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I go with the flow of life, enjoying the little things as they pass me by. I am currently a college student learning the ways of the engineer, the chemical type. I enjoy all sort of activities including all types of music and sports. I especially like soccer, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and running. Football and basketball are slightly above average and I tolerate baseball. I love the outdoors. Spending time in the green coniferous forests of Oregon is probably still my absolutely most favorite activity, even though I now live in Utah. I enjoy giving service to others, especially at school. I wish I could just make everyone happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes life joyful--not easy--but joyful. There is a unique sense of peace that comes with a complete understanding of Heavenly Father's plan for us, the Plan of Salvation, that allows the trivial trials of life to be swallowed up in the hope of the Gospel which is, of course, centered on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. As I have understood the Plan of Salvation, and really internalized it, I have realized the eternal nature of man and the potential that he--that we--all have. As I have come to realize this I have come to love to pray. If anyone needs joy, happiness, comfort, a feeling of love, etc., all he/she has to do is pray! It is so simple, but incomparably beautiful. As I have prayed and realized my potential and the potential of others, my life has been enriched. I have gained a knowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that He has reached out to man out of love and provided this wonderful church--the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints--to help all reach their full potential and be joyous, not just in this life, but also in the eternity to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a way not unique to most Latter-Day Saints. Like many, I have internalized the teachings of the Church and the joy that they bring to my life--from the inside out. I currently serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Korea Daejeon mission. I am a representative of Jesus Christ and strive every day to live up to that calling and privilege. As a full-time missionary, my purpose for two years of my life is to invite others to come to Christ. I enjoy and will enjoy seeing many people changing their lives to a happier and more rewarding state of living. I know that all the lasting happiness we experience is through Him, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
