Hi I'm Lyndon

I love to play music and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Lyndon Curtis. I am currently serving as a missionary in the New Zealand Auckland mission. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and spent my childhood in a little town known as Tooele. When I was about ten years old my family and I moved to Boise, Idaho. It was here that I gained a love for music, running, and the outdoors. I started playing the trombone and continued to play all through my schooling in elementary, junior and high schools. In high school I had the opportunity to play some of the greatest music written for band. I love music it brings me so much happiness. I later continued in the Boy Scouts of America and progressed to the rank of an Eagle Scout. I grew to love camping and the outdoors. And now I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and go out to share with the world what being a follower of Christ really means to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in a loving Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ that leads and directs us to do that which is right and helps us return to live with him again with our families here on Earth. I have seen people change for the better through this gospel and those people have become amazing people that I love and admire.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? Every day I get up and read my scriptures beginning with a prayer. Every time I read I find new insights that help draw me closer to Christ and our Father in Heaven. I think about the things the scriptures tell me and how I can do better each day. I give thanks for the things the Lord has shown me and then I go out and share those things the Lord showed me.
