Hi I'm Jordan Bateman

I'm from Canada. I love sports and the outdoors. And I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm leaving on a mission to serve in the Jamaica Kingston mission! I report to the mtc Feb. 27th! I love just about every sport: basketball, football, team handball, rugby, snow skiing and all water sports. I like to backpack and spend time in the outdoors. I love mountains and lakes! I like to cook and take photos. I am Canadian and feel blessed to live in this country.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this Church is true. I have felt of its truthfulness by the power of the Holy Ghost. My testimony has grown as I grew up in the church, attended meetings, early morning seminary class and did service. I have a tight knit group of guy friends who are all planning on serving missions and that has made it even easier to hold on to my standards and be an example to others. I know Joseph Smith did truly restore Christ's church and that it was essential because the Earth was missing important Priesthood keys pertaining to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ suffered for our sins and I want to share that with the rest of the World.

How I live my faith

For the last 4 months I have been preparing to serve a mission in Jamaica. I've saved up for it the last two summers working for a landscaping company and by mowing lawns on the side. I am part of my wards event committee and like to get involved.
