Hi I'm Dallin Farnsworth

I live in Pocatello Idaho. I'm currently serving a mission in Reno. I love to run and play guitar. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time mission in the Reno, Nevada Mission. I was called on April 10th and reported on August 8th, 2012. My mission president's name is President Hermanson. Before leaving i ran cross country and track. I signed to run for BYU for when i return home for my mission a look forward to that. Although i had a lawn business, and was active in my ward, running was pretty much my whole life and one of the only things i really cared about before leaving on my mission. Now after being on my mission for a couple months i can see how a mission really changes someone into something great!

Why I am a Mormon

Because i grow up in this faith it can be easily judged that i am a Mormon only because my family is. That is not the case. Now I'm not saying that I am not grateful for having been blessed to be in a family where the gospel was strong, but i had to work for my testimony just as anyone else who wants to know for themselves of the truth of this gospel does. I am a Mormon because i know that this gospel of Jesus Christ is true and i know that the saving ordinances that is provides are the only way to make it back to our Heavenly Father once again. I love this church and know it to be led by a prophet that has been called of God, President Thomas S. Monson. The power of the Priesthood is real and it can led us safely home once again. And these are the few reason on why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Being on a mission makes it easy for a person to live their faith in the correct ways. I wake up in the morning and the first thing i do is say my prayers. at eight AM i start my personal study for an hour followed by companion study for an additional two hours. As i continue teaching the gospel my faith and testimony is strengthened. I am a strong believer in the fact that if you share my testimony frequently it can grow and become as strong as you want it to be. I have found that your faith is whatever you put into it. So my challenge to you is to put into your faith as much as your Heavenly Father would what you to.
