Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a wife, mother, blogger, writer & social media manager. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family and spending as much time as I can with them. I'm blessed to be able to be a 'work at home' mum with a blog, and freelance writing and social media management work. I love that I can work flexibly around my family and contribute but not miss anything. I enjoy running and try to do that as much as I can (I worked as a class instructor and in fitness management before I left to have my children). I am a bit of a foodie and enjoy cooking, baking and eating out. I enjoy quiz shows, movies and yoga. I love to travel!

Why I am a Mormon

I have a simple testimony of the gospel. I know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and a Saviour, Jesus Christ, that has atoned for my sins, so I can return to live with them one day. I know that the gospel was restored on the earth, through the prophet Joseph Smith and that we still have a prophet on the earth today - just like in Jesus' time. I have had several experiences throughout my life that have reaffirmed these things to me. They are not amazing or profound but I have so strongly felt the spirit that it can not be denied. I pray to my father in heaven and I receive answers. Living the gospel makes me happy and I am so thankful for the knowledge I have that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I serve the children of our church and I really enjoy it. We sing songs about our Saviour and read from the scriptures and I learn so much from them. I also organise activities for them that can help them to have fun, develop their talents and help them grow closer to the Saviour. My husband and I are excited to teach our family about our faith and we regularly pray together and read from the scriptures together. We serve others when we can and attend church on a Sunday. I hope that I show to my neighbours and friends that I have a belief in God by the way that I live my life. I am in no way perfect but with the help of my Saviour Jesus Christ, I can be a little bit better each day.
