Hi I'm L. D'on Hux

Hello I am L. D'on Hux. I'm a true southerner. I have a goal of playing BYU football one day. a son of God and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is L. D'on Hux. I am from Mississippi. I have been a member of the Church for 14 years now. I have one younger brother. I like to play sports, go to church, play video games, swim, hang out with friends. Also, I do theatre and enjoy watching it. Theatre really soothes my soul. That's what I plan to major in. Right now I am serving a mission in the Salt Lake City West Mission... I am loving every moment of it. I plan on going to BYU after my mission to hopefully walk on for football. I enjoy different kinds of music. Mainly rap, hip hop, old school and country. I'm a Missionary, a Son of a Loving Heavenly Father, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I became a Mormon is simple. I wanted to follow in Christ's footsteps and return to heaven. Before I was a Mormon, I was a baptist. I was confused about the religion and had thoughts on the background of the foundation of the religion. When I was younger, missionaries came over to my house and explained the gospel in a way that I could understand and adore. I'd like to bear my testimony that I know that this church is true. I know we have a true and living Prophet in these latter days- President Thomas S. Monson. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God to be a prophet to restore His kingdom back here on earth. Without missionary work, most of us wouldn't be LDS. I know this is Heavenly Father's Kingdom. I know that Jesus is the Christ.

How I live my faith

I am very supportive and helpful in my church's activity. I have served as 1st counselor in the priest quorum in the Aaronic priesthood. I was a home teacher for a little while and enjoyed the times I spent visiting the families. I live my faith by relying on the Spirit and listening to the promptings that it testify to me each and every day. Having faith in Christ is so important in this lifetime so that one day we can return to Him by atonement.
