Hi I'm Chelsea

I was raised in the Church from birth. I live in Alabama with my husband and 4 daughters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in th Church since birth. My family moved from Utah to Baton Rouge, LA when I was 11. I graduated from BYU in 2001. After we graduated from BYU my husband had to wait a year to get into graduate school so we moved to New Orleans for that year where I worked as a manager for a credit company. After that year we moved to Columbus, OH, where John finished school. Four years of midwest winters were enough for me so after graduation I gave John a south of the Maison-Dixon line requirement for job searches. We have spent the last 7 years here in central Alabama. We decided to stay here after John's training because we have made many great friends here (both Mormon and not Mormon) and we get the best three seasons, Spring, Summer, and Fall! I stay home with my four daughters. I am excited for the challenge to raise a bunch of healthy, happy, and morally clean young women. I am greatful for a great husband and great father to my girls who supports me every day. When I am not being mom (and sometimes when I am) I enjoy singing, working out, and setting up play dates for me and the kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I believe that when we pray Heavenly Father listens. I believe that He truely wants us to be happy and he will always lead us to that happiness when we are still and listen. I have felt Him prepare me for trials and I have wittnessed His hand in my life durring those trials. When there is a question or doubt in my mind, I always turn to the fact that living the gospel brings true happiness. Why would I stray from that?!!!!

How I live my faith

I loved working with the youth but now I get to lead the music in Church on Sunday. Music and singing have always come natural to me. I find my testimony and my resolve to live the gospel strengthend when I am singing praise to the Savior. My husband and I chose to stay in Alabama because we are excited about the opportunities to serve here. I have found I am most happy when I am engaged in the work of service to my friends and neighbors. We really feel the love of the Lord for the people of Alabama. We want to share in that love here too.
