Hi I'm Julie

I'm an adoptive mom, an avid runner, and an aspiring "yogi". I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a stay at home mom to two adorable little boys who joined our family through the beautiful miracle of adoption. Besides playing with them, I also teach preschool in a co-op with friends, run a LOT, and do lots of yoga because I am hoping to become a certified instructor someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel like Alma says it best in his remarks to Korihor in Alma 30:44 of the Book of Mormon. He states, "...all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which do move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator." This scripture has always resonated with me, and throughout my life of striving to follow the teachings of the gospel it has been confirmed to me over and over again that it is true! There is a God, a loving Heavenly Father even, and He has revealed his truths to the earth. I have seen to many evidences of God's tender mercies in my own life to ever doubt it!

How I live my faith

I am lucky enough to serve with the young ladies in my ward. It is my favorite assignment that I've had so far. They are so vibrant and full of life. I tell everyone that it's my "girl time" each week, since I only have boys at home. I also love to spend time visiting some of the sisters in my ward each month, and have recently decided to start a free yoga class for ladies to join on Saturdays.
