Hi I'm Anthony

I love my awesome family, Football, Music, Marvel Movies, and of course the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I am proud to be a Mormon!

About Me

I am 22 years old. I come from an amazing family of 6 and I'm the only boy and have 3 Sisters. Even though we don't always get along, I love my Sisters a bunch and I am grateful for them always being there for me. Both of my parents are converts to this Church, and are probably the best people that I know. I love them and I'm grateful for their example to me. I am a returned missionary and served in South Carolina for two of the best years of my life! I love the good ol' South and will forever will say "y'all" because of it. I love Sports a ton, if staying away from Football was a commandment, let's just say I'd have a lot of repenting to do! I also love music, anything from Rap to Country to you name it. As long as it has a good beat and good lyrics, I'll enjoy it. The nerdy side of me loves Marvel movies and also the Superman and Batman movies. Other than that, I'm a pretty easy going guy, and I just love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is really Christ's Church. I have a testimony of its truthfulness because I have felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me it's truth SOOO many times. The Book of Mormon is another big reason why I am a Mormon. That book is "Another Testimony of Jesus Christ" because it has helped me gain a personal (keyword:personal) relationship with our Heavenly Father and His Only Begotten Son. There are countless times where reading from that Book has either answered my questions, wiped away my doubts, restored my Faith, or been an essential part in helping others close to me get better. Also, as weird as it might sound at first, but Mormons themselves are another reason I am Mormon. In my lifetime and in living in multiple states across the U.S. I have been amazed at how Mormons are are generally alike. Meaning, everywhere I go, Mormons are generally good-natured, service-oriented, happy, and dedicated followers of the Savior. I've seen it time and time again, and I know that this is possible because of the Gospel being true. All of these things only increase my testimony that this Church is true, and that Heavenly Father is still there for us and loves us. Nothing else gives me this comfort or makes sense, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith be striving my best to keep the Covenants, or promises that I have made to my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Really, life is about becoming more and more like our Savior, and I find that as I do (don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not perfect at it, but isn't that the point?) I also start becoming the best version of me that I can be. I strive to be an example of following Christ in all that I do, and really, just trying to think less about myself and more about others and how I can serve them. In the end, that's really what the Gospel is about, Christlike Service.
