Hi I'm Laurel

I grew up in the Western States. I love sports especially Soccer, Basketball and Surfing. I love all people. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am from Utah/California. I love both places very much. I am the middle child of 5. I have 2 older sisters and 2 younger brothers. I love to play all sports, especially soccer. I like to sing and play some piano. I attended BYU-Idaho majoring in Sociology, but will change my major after my mission to Exercise Science. I want to be a Strength/Fitness coach and/or an Athletic Trainer someday. I consider everyone I meet my friend. My friends and my family would describe me as down to earth, chill, loving and easy-going. I am always in for a good time. I love to smile and laugh until I can't breathe. I am always in for a pick-up games related to sports. I love to have fun and meet new people. I love the ocean and the beauty it brings. Especially the sunsets. Just being there reminds me of how God really loves us. I love smiling. I can't go a day without smiling. It is highly impossible in my book. My life is far from perfect, but it has helped me build character and I am thankful for that. I love everyone and I know that God and Jesus Christ loves everyone. I served as a full-time missionary in the California San Diego Mission. This was the best decision I ever made. "Live everyday. Laugh often. Love beyond measure."

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have been raised in this church ever since I was born. Of course I didn't understand the full truths when I was younger. I had to find out for myself if this church was true. I know without a doubt, that this church is true. I feel it within my heart. There is no person or anything that can convince me to think otherwise. I know Christ lives. I know with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in our lives, there is no need to fear.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to gain Christ-like attributes. I had the wonderful opportunity to serve as a Ward Missionary. It has truly helped me decide to serve a full-time mission for this church. I live my faith by serving others freely. I don't expect anything back. That's the way of life for me.
