Hi I'm Mark Hoagland

I grew up in Melba, Idaho on a cattle ranch. I still run a small ranch in the area. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a cattle rancher on a very small scale. I am also retired from teaching high school math for 22 years. My wife and I have been married 53 years and active in the Mormon church our whole lifes. We are currently serving a mission in the Richmond, Virginia mission for 18 monthes We are the parents of 7 children. 5 boys and 2 girls. We have 15 grand children and 6 great gand children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by good Mormon parents but still I had to gain my own testimony. I did that by reading and praying about the Book of Mormon. The gospel and my family are my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness and peace into my life. I know that my Heavenly Father lives and loves me. Jesus Christ is my Savior and friend. I know he died to wipe away my sins. Joseph Smith was and is a prophet. We have a Prophet guiding our church today. Becuase of the blessings of the gospel we can be a family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different callings in the church. My favorite was serving as the Bishop of our ward. I love to talk to others about the church and the great blessings available to all who want them.
