Hi I'm Steve

I'm from Cold Lake, Alberta. I snowboard...I wakeboard...I'm a carpenter...and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

A little about me?...well...I've been married for a little over 5 years now. I started a residential construction company after becoming a Journeyman Carpenter. Among other things, my favourite pastimes are wake boarding, snowboarding and watching movies with friends. I enjoy working too...but less so when I don't get to choose to work. My wife and I and some friends recently took a trip to Mexico to build a small house (11'x22') for a family. This has ignited a fire in us to become more financially free so we can have more time and resources to do these kinds of things! That is what we work towards together!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon...hmmm...because I had questions in life, about life, and this is where I found the answers. I prayed, just as all of us can, sincerely, to know of the truthfulness, and received an answer. Why am I STILL Mormon?...because it continues to positively impact my life, my family's lives, and my friend's lives. I know it is right.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reminding myself to keep an eternal perspective on life. We are all here to experience life and grow from the experiences we have, and self improvement - spiritually, physically and emotionally - is a big part of my life. I regularly attend church on Sundays. However, being strong in my faith is challenging at times, but I realize - and re-realize - my life is so much better and more meaningful when I strive to live as Christ did...and follow His example!
