Hi I'm Jennifer

I grew up in Florida and Texas. I joined the church with my family in 1974 in Wauchula Florida. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a blended family. I'm the step-mom and mom to five boys and one girl. After a few years of married to my husband, he joined the church in time to baptize my 8 year old, Jason. I love being a wife and mother and now a grandmother. Still raising those children! I have an 18 and 10 year old still at home. I enjoy reading, history, gardening, cooking, exploring, vacationing, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my father brought the missionaries to our home in 1974. I am still a Mormon because it is true. This is the restored gospel. The holy spirit has witnessed to me of its truthfulness. I have had times in my life when I didn't live the teachings as I should but I never denied that it was true. I can say for sure that the happiness I have now is lasting happiness. Being a Mormon brings me a joy that can not be found otherwise. Long lasting joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I enjoy visiting teaching. I love getting to know the sisters in a more intimate setting. It is fun to be able to share things and listen as they talk about their experiences in life. I work in the scouting program. We enjoy hearing from our boys while they are on their missions. It is a real testimony builder. I try to be an example of what a Mormon is. Living in Texas, you have an opportunity to meet many people who don't know anything about the church. It is always fun to tell them and to help them understand more about what we believe.
