Hi I'm Emma

I grew up in New Zealand, I study Fashion design, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I Live in a beautiful country where I get to look out my window and see the beautiful snow tipped mountains and the ocean in the other direction, everyday I get to open my eyes and appreciate the natural beauties in the world that the Lord gave all of us. I also live in a place filled with wonderful down to earth people. I study fashion design and love it, I love sports and spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel, but became less active at a young age as I hadn't gained my own testimony. However, throughout my teen years I knew something was missing, events in my life happened where family members fell ill, school was rough, decisions I had main were causing not only me pain but those around me and it hit me hard, so I turned to who knew me best... my Heavenly Father who although I had turned my back on him, he had never left me. It took me a long time to go back to church and develop a testimony of my own, but when I knew, I truly knew. This gospel not only brings a COMPLETE joy to my life, but also to my families and friends. Some people think we are limited because of all these "rules and regulations" but its the opposite ... I have never felt so free and happy in my life than I do when I'm choosing the right, keeping the commandments, serving the Lord and my brothers and sisters. I love this church and I love being Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have the blessing of teaching 6-7 yr old Primary class, they are amazing and teach me new things constantly. They are so honest and loving and each time I get to spend time with them it makes me understand more and more why we should be more like children. They are so content and just want to be loved, they need very little to be joyful, It truly amazes me. I enjoy my visiting teaching, as it brings so much joy to serve my Sister's. YSA is also awesome, they are so supportive and always filled with friendly faces.
