Hi I'm Josh McMullens

I am currently serving a full-time mission in Richmond, Virginia. I love music and movies. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old and love meeting new people. I am the oldest of 5 kids (two brothers, two sisters) and i love each of them! I am an Eagle Scout. My dad joined the church when he was 19 and my mom was raised in the church. I like to read and watch movies with my siblings. I like learning to do new things and learning new skills. I like to consider myself a quick learner. I have my dad's since of humor and love to make people laugh. I like spending time with the people I love. I love talking to little children because they are so optimistic. I like music, movies, comics, and Captain America.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is something that I have never had reason to doubt. I was raised in the church, but I had to make the decision to become a member on my own. Over the years, I have developed a strong testimony of the things I have learned. I have read and prayed about the scriptures and I know that they are true. I have learned about the atonement of Jesus Christ and know that he died so that we can live with Heavenly Father again. I know that Joseph Smith restored the true gospel that exists on Earth today. I know that this is the true church and I welcome those who seek to find out for themselves.

How I live my faith

I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This means that is share the gospel with those who have not yet heard it and have a desire to listen. I don't get paid for this, I do it because if Jesus Christ can die for my sins, I can give two years to testify of Him. I try to live my faith by listening to people, especially when they express concern or are having a hard time. I try my best to be loving and supportive to anyone in need. "comfort those who stand in need of comfort," I guess. I love hearing about peoples' lives and all their unique experiences. it helps me learn how I can be a better disciple of Jesus Christ.
