Hi I'm Mark

I was born and raised a Mormon. I was called as a Mormon missionary to Korea. I have a family and jewelry business.

About Me

I have four daughters and two sons, and a cheerful, positive wife who helped me in my jewelry making as I helped her in raising the kids. We have moved around in order to increase business which also gave us a variety of experiences. Having a home business kept us close and taught all how to make jewelry.. We also learned to play together, hiking and playing tennis being some of our favorites. Just recently my last daughter left for college but returns on weekends with her brother to make jewelry as the rest have done to earn enough for their educations.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young, I asked my Mom, "If you hadn't grown up in the church, do you think you'd be a Mormon?". She smiled and confidently said "Yes." I believed her . She didn't elaborate on this. I knew she knew, which caused me to search. The Saviour said, "My sheep hear my voice." My trouble was discerning what His voice sounded like. I pondered and prayed. My desire increased . I felt a need to change, to feel cleaner. I repented. Since I had been baptized when I was young, forgiveness was possible immediately and I felt clean. This is something that cannot be faked. I didn't hear Him say I was clean, but I knew it, so this sheep heard His voice. I discovered that repentance was essential to hearing His voice, especially after serving as a missionary for two years. Since this time I have discerned other ways He speaks. I design jewelry so I can tell He guides me in that way, too.

How I live my faith

I often feel the presence of the Lord near me. Sometimes He is closer than at other times. Service, study, prayer, and work are important to balance in order for me to feel close to Him. I want to live in such a way as to always have Him near. When this happens, His hand is in everything I do. He is in His church, but He is also at my work and with my family. This is an early heaven that I am confidant can last forever.
