Hi I'm Craig John-Elias Zacharias

I am a gamer, I enjoy hard work, I am 21 years old, I live at home, and I am preparing to go on a Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I used to love gaming on my computer, a long time ago, and while I still do, I also now enjoy playing on the 360. Usually on the internet or playing my CD games. I love the works of Blizzard and Microsoft. RTS games used to be my favorite, but now they are only some of favorites. This includes, but is not limited to, Starcraft, The Warcraft line, The Age of Empires line, and the spin-off of that; Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds. These are not my only interests, I enjoy hard work, I enjoy working around yards, and woodworking. I still dislike working out in the heat, but I've learned that it is a not so great part of life, and that I just have to stay hydrated to keep working hard. I love sports, Football(American) is my favorite sport. Soccer would have to be second, followed by Baseball. My favorite animal is a dog, Labs and Pit Bulls are two of my favorite kinds. I have in the past year discovered that I really enjoy writing, which is something that was brought out while I was attending the BYU-I Pathways Program, I had a wonderful Writing teacher, who helped to bring out my love for it. She has greatly attributed to my ability to write, which has allowed me to build my confidence. I am eternally grateful to have had the chance to attend that Program.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church, and I never really felt like going when I was younger. My mother and some friends tried to keep me going to Church, but I was young and I wanted to do other things. I came back around my 18th birthday, I have not gone ever since, I have had a few trials that seemed too big at the time, but I can happily say that I am active and going again, I enjoy going to Church, I enjoy the Spirit that can be felt there, I enjoy the people, the experiences, and the many wonderful lessons I have had. I can and I do understand the reasons behind my falling out several times, but I know deep in my heart that I am where I am supposed to be when I live worthily and attend Church regularly. I am truly grateful for the many blessings I have received in my life, and I have a Testimony of the charity that is within the Church. I am a Mormon, and I will always be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love being around people, despite my insecurities; and helping them out in any way that I can, even if I have to forgo something I enjoy. I enjoy giving to others, both those I know, and those I do not know. I enjoy service projects, when I get the chance, I love to go to the National Food Bank, as well as the Local Bishop's Storehouse over in Houston. Working in the Peanut Butter Cannery is a wonderful experience, because it blesses the lives of those working there, and those who end up receiving the Peanut Butter. I love to participate in service projects because they help me feel like I am making a difference in someone's life, which is an incredible feeling. Lately I have had the chance to share the Gospel more often, I have been doing a challenge to read a scripture and a General Conference talk every day. One of those talks ended up making me feel like I should update my Mormon.org profile. I am grateful for this challenge, because it has helped me to share the Gospel with others, by allowing me to share with them the talks, and/or the scriptures I have read that day.
