Hi I'm Cace

I grew up in the great state of Arkansas. I stole a Book of Mormon from a Marriott hotel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently became a dad and have been loving every minute of it. If I'm not spending time with my wife and little girl I enjoy playing golf, riding my road bike, hiking, or canoeing. I'm finishing up my MBA and am looking forward to exploring ways to fill up all that free time once I'm done studying!

Why I am a Mormon

I have to confess...I stole a Book of Mormon from a Marriott hotel. I was on a business trip back in 2002 and came across the book in my hotel room. I opened up and began reading the introduction out of curiosity, as I really didn't know anything about Mormons. When I stopped reading and looked at a clock I found that I had been reading for over 2 hours! I was completely drawn in by the book and the feeling I had when I read the Book of Mormon. I returned home and confessed to a few co-workers (also members of the Church) what I had done. They excitedly invited me to Church that Sunday. I ended up attending for a couple of months and approached the Missionaries once I felt a confirmation that this was where the Lord wanted me to be. I never imagined this would be the path I'd go down in my life but the decision to be baptized has turned my lfie around and blessed me in so many ways. I used to drink and waste time foolishly on the weekends. I felt a major void in my life. The Gospel has filled that void and has brought about so many blessings. I have a great career, a wonderful wife and family, a beautiful little girl, and a group of amazing friends. The decision to be baptized was the best decision I've ever made in my life. It wasn't easy by any means, as I'm the only member in my family. But I could not deny the feeling I felt when I read the Book of Mormon and I'm so thankful that I chose this path.

How I live my faith

I've been a member of the Church since 2003. I currently have a calling with the Cub Scouts and enjoy working with the boys each week and watching them grow and learn new things. I enjoy doing service in my local community.
