Hi I'm Ann

I grew up in Nevada and Utah. I am a full time mother, wife, and homemaker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Heavenly Father and my Savior, husband, children, and music. (In that order!) I am a mother of 6 children, soon to be 7. I am currently supporting my husband as he is attends school full time by playing Mom and Dad most of the time. You can find me playing the piano, singing, and playing with my children in my spare time. I also like to find ways to make our home feel more homey (if that's even a word).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only church upon the earth that contains a fullness of Christ's gospel and that it was through His authority that is was restored in these latter days. I know this with every fiber of my being because the Holy Ghost has testified this to me over and over again throughout my life. There was a time in my life when I turned my back on the teachings of church and God. I even turned others away from the church through my bad example. These were very dark, lonely, confusing times. On one particular day, I hit such an excruciating low that I found myself falling to the floor out of sheer exhaustion of mind, body and soul. As I laid there, the words "Oh Heavenly Father, help me!" came from somewhere deep inside. The instant these words left my lips I felt the most loving arms wrap around me and I knew without a shadow of a doubt that my Heavenly Father was embracing me and that He loved me more than I could ever comprehend. I knew then what path I needed to take. Things were not perfect after that but my conviction was and I was able to overcome addictions and harmful habits that had bound me down. I feel so blessed that a loving Heavenly Father never gave up on me and that the Savior has extended his infinite Atonement to me, as unworthy as I felt. I will forever praise my Savior and do everything I can to hear those words when I see His loving face again, "Well done my good and faithful servant. Come into my arms to stay!"

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to act as if the Savior were beside me at any given moment. I am always willing to give a helping hand to my neighbors and anyone I come across that I find in need. I am currently a visiting teacher and a visiting teaching supervisor (I have the assignment to check up on a group of visiting teaching companions to see who they were able to visit for the month and see if anyone needs help).
