Hi I'm Melissa

I grew up in Southern California. I play volleyball. I love interior design, photography and my wonderful family. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have loving parents 5 wonderful sisters and an amazing brother-in-law, and nephew! I played volleyball in high school. Grew up going to the beach every week. I love being around my best friends, laughing, going to dinners, movies, hiking together, being at the beach, staying in cabins, getting frozen yogurt, traveling together! I love traveling. Trying new things make me happy!I have started going to school for Interior Design and cant wait to get a degree in that!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my parents have always shared the gospel in my home growing up. They have been the best examples to me. By showing me the love they have for the church and the blessings it brings when they live it, I have been able to grow and desire that for myself. As much as I had learned growing up, I knew it was important to gain my own testimony and not use my parents. I really nourished my own testimony when I was willing to read the Book Of Mormon on my own, go to church on my own, fulfill my callings on my own, and pray about everything and to seek guidance from my Heavenly Father more independently than always from my parents. The moments I did these things, with out having to be told to, I gained more of a desire to serve others and share with them what I have learned. I wouldn't know anything if I had never prayed to know the Book of Mormon was true, or if there truly was a prophet on the earth today leading and guiding us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example. I live what I believe and love what I believe. I love sharing about my Sundays, filled with church and family.

In whom should we have faith?

Jesus Christ is the center of everything. He is the way that we return to live with our Heavenly Father. Gaining faith in him is a process and takes experience's work and commitment. When we pray and seek his guidance and love he will always extend it. A scripture in the Book of Mormon reads "Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me." 3 Nephi 9:14 . I know my Savior lives and loves each and every one of us! Show more Show less
