Hi I'm Lisa Kealamakia

I am a mother of five boys. My family is my greatest treasure. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My greatest treasures in my life are my husband and my five sons. I am a very busy mother who supports her children in all of their interests and events. It is nothing for me to go to five sporting events in one week not to mention all of the practices involved in being a mother of all boys. I love to scrapbook and read! I enjoy spending time with my friends and love to go out to lunch with them. My husband is my best friend and we go out on dates each Friday. We take the time to date each other and spend time as a couple. I am a preschool teacher who loves her students and they bring sunshine into my life with their beautiful smiles. I also have a great love for cookbooks.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is to truly be blessed. My family is my greatest love! I would only live a life that would ensure that I would be able to be with them forever. On March 9th 1991 my husband and I were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. On that day we started on a journey that sealed us together forever. Promises where made that would bring about great happiness and security in our lives. My companion and I have taught our children the teachings and principles of our Faith. Teachings of the Savior, how to love others and how to use the gift of the atonement that Christ so freely gave . As a mother I have learned that the most important principle I can teach my children is of the atonement. So that they may know where they can go for the remission of their sins. Children always need to know that know matter what they are loved and that all things are possible through Christ. Being a Mormon means living a life centered around Christ. To try to live as he lives. To love others and to find ways in which we can be in instrument in his hands by helping and serving others. By sharing our testimony and letting others know that we know that he lives. I have made a choice to be Mormon because to me it means that I stand as believer of Christ and I am not ashamed to tell all who will listen that I choose to be a follower of him because I love him.

How I live my faith

The first Sunday of each month in our church, we set time aside to express our thankfulness and testimony of the things we know to be true. I always take the opportunity to share with others my feelings towards my Savior. My Savior had blessed me with his example of how to live my life . He voluntary gave of his life and atoned for my sins so that I may have the gift of the atonement. A gift that allows me to correct my wrongs and to move forward in living a life in which he would be pleased with. I rejoice in being a member of His church and consider my membership priceless. I know He lives !
