Hi I'm Eric

I was born in Hawaii, raised in Utah, am trying to embrace my Japanese half, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Heber City, Utah. I am the youngest of four kids and I have two older sisters and one older brother. I love my family! I enjoy soccer, snowboarding, playing the piano, and the occasional poetry slamdown. I am currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter day Saints in the Japan Nagoya Mission. When I finish my mission I will return to BYU and finish my schooling.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of this church so I was born into it. I went to church everyweek but didn't care to really understand the teachings of this church. I just went through the actions as a young kid. It wasn't till the decison of whether or not to become a missionary approached closer that I realized I need to find out if this church is true. I studied the Book of Mormon, prayed, made changes in my life, and came to know the truthfulness of this Gospel. I have felt the power of Jesus Christ and his Atonement in my life and know there is nothing sweeter. After feeling the power and seeing the results of pray and reading, I know this church is true! Simply put, by following this Gospel I am a happy person!

How I live my faith

Because I have recieved and felt the blessings of this church, I want to share it with everyone! That is why I decided to become a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am now serving in the Japan Nagoya Mission and absoutely love being a missionary! It has been such a blessing to see others recieve the same blessings I have from being a member of this church. I also teach a free adults English class along with a Children's English class.
