Hi I'm Andrea

I'm an Idaho girl, a wife and mother, a step aerobics instructor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mom and love it! I have one daughter and look forward to more children down the road. I love spending time with my family. Before I became a mom, I worked as a medical assistant at a family practice office. I learned so much and really enjoyed working with people. I enjoy being healthy and taking care of my body. I especially love to exercise - specifically step aerobics. I teach a step aerobics class once a week and love sharing my passion with the participants. Some of my other hobbies are scrapbooking, listening to music, and playing the piano. I've also had the opportunity to do some great sailing trips with my in-laws and love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know it's true. Our Heavenly Father has created a plan for His children to return to live with Him some day and I know He has a plan for me. I want to be with my family forever and I know I can through the sealing power of the temple. I know that by following the commandments, abiding by the teachings of the prophets, and living the standards of the gospel, I will have the greatest joy and will be blessed. I know that Satan is real and he would like to see us fail, but I also know that we can choose the better part and withstand his temptations. I know our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to be happy. I know we can be forgiven when we make mistakes. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, has provided us a way through the Atonement. I know He knows and loves each and every one of His children. I know He is mindful of our needs. I know that when we trust in Him, He will guide us. I know the power of prayer is real and I know He hears and answers my prayers. I know why I'm here and I know where I'm going. I know the Savior lives. The gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and enjoy feeling the spirit and being taught. My family and I have recently moved into a new area, so I'm working on getting to know the members of our new ward. No matter where we go, I always feel at home, even with a new ward. My calling right now is as a visiting teacher. I haven't met the women I get to visit, but I look forward to serving them in any way I can. I especially enjoy the meetings and activities for the women of the church. I've always felt that women need other women in their lives as friends to socialize with and strengthen one another. Having those kind friendships in the ward is so important to me and a great blessing.
