Hi I'm Stephanie

I grew up in Cache Valley UT. I'm studying plant science. I love all kinds of music. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am so excited about studying plants. I'm a junior in college and I have loved every minute of it. Plants are my passion and I love doing all kinds of gardening. It's fun and a great way to get outside. Being outside is one of my favorite activities. Whether it's hiking, camping, or just a day at the park I love it. I play the clarinet and bass clarinet. Music is something that has changed my life forever. It has a way of touching people in ways that no one can describe. I love life and my family so much. I always try to wake up happy no matter what is going to happen that day. It makes your day so much better. I'm striving to love all those around me and even if I don't know them find a way to serve them. The Lord went about doing good whether people accepted Him or not. That's how I want to live my life. I want people to enjoy being around me by how I present myself and how I care about others.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm mormon because it affects my life everyday. I grew up with the gospel and never really understood how much it meant to me until I got older. When I started having to make big decisions for myself I realized how much I needed that support. I needed the interaction and the spirit and the feelings that I get when I would attend my meetings and classes. The gospel is extraordinary. It can make the biggest difference. The feelings that it brings makes it all the more worth it. Knowing that I can get that feeling of joy everyday is so cool. I love the gospel and I love getting the opportunity to share it. The gospel has become central to my life. It helps me grow as a person. I'm better with it than I ever would be without it in my life.

How I live my faith

I try attending church related classes everyday. I do that by attending the Logan LDS Institute. They have many different classes about history, the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and many other things. It has also been a great place to find a quiet place to study for my other classes. I love visiting the other members in my ward through visiting teaching and going to family home evening. I try to stay active and go to all the different activities. It's been very very fun. I'm preparing to serve a mission in Korea. I'm working hard to keep the commandments and live my life as God would have me do. I strive to love and care about all those who are around me.
