Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in British Columbia. I am an electrical engineer and an entrepreneur. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of three young children. I love hiking and exploring the outdoors and playing guitar. I studied Electrical Engineering in school and work as a hardware/software consultant to various local companies. I have a love for technology and electronics and a wonder for the intelligence and diversity of God's creations.

Why I am a Mormon

l find that the gospel helps me to make sense of the world around me, from the physical creation of the Earth, to the reason for trials and hardship. The knowledge that l am a child of God gives me a sense of strength and purpose in life and makes me continually strive to be a better person. Only in this church, can I have a clear understanding of why I'm here on Earth and what happens to me after death. I was raised in the church but perhaps the most important reason I remain active in it is because I feel the Holy Ghost as I read the scriptures and as I ponder the truths that are spoken by our church leaders. That peaceful feeling testifies of truth and brings a more sure knowledge than any amount of logical reasoning could ever provide.

How I live my faith

I study the scriptures everyday and I try to apply their teachings to improve myself as a person. This effects everything from the language I use to the movies I watch, to the way I treat other people. I try to live my life so that I can be worthy of the influence of the Holy Ghost. I'm currently involved with leading a group of men in my church, coordinating visits and responding to their needs.
