We are happy to answer any questions you may have. Start a chat or call us at 1-888-537-6600.

Hi I'm Rachel Escolopio

I'm a missionary. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the performing arts. Acting and singing are my two biggest passions. I like to laugh until my stomach hurts, tell stupid jokes, make new friends, and do anything that has to do with fashion, interior design, music, or psychology. I never take life too seriously because you have to make the best of every situation. I went to a year of college at Southern Virginia University with a major in Family and Consumer Science with an emphasis in Child Development. We'll see if that stays the same in a year and a half because, in my first year of college, I changed my major 4 times... I have two loving parents, four older brothers and a miniature pinscher named Dexter. I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Utah Salt Lake City Central Spanish speaking mission! I love this gospel and I am so excited and blessed to have to opportunity tell the world (or for now, Utah) about it :)

Why I am a Mormon

I feel peace whenever I live my standards and the way the church teaches us to live. I love the gospel and I will stand strong in this church for eternity. It has taught me to respect and love my family and everyone around me. My faith defines me. It is who I am. It is everything I love. I cannot deny the love I have for my Savior and my Father in Heaven. I know that if I live the words of the gospel, my life will be, and has been, blessed. I am so happy I am a member of this beautiful church. It has given me a greater purpose in life. It has given me a greater understanding of why we are here. It has given me love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best I can possibly be for my Father in Heaven. I read my scriptures every morning and night, pray always and attend church meetings. Currently I am living my faith by representing The Lord as a missionary. I find ways to improve my faith daily. By helping my testimony grow and strengthening my faith, I do all that I can to keep myself worthy in the eyes of my Father in heaven.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Rachel Escolopio
You can come to know that mormonism is true by praying to Heavenly Father, reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it and attending the nearest LDS church on Sundays to feel if Mormonism is true. Also, the missionaries of the church can teach you more about the church and help you understand what it is about. Listen for the voice or the feeling you get when doing these things. I testify to you that it will work and you can come to know of the truth of this religion. Show more Show less
