Hi I'm Trevor

I grew up in France & Philadelphia. I'm an avid sports fan. I'm a drummer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending university in Utah, hoping to earn a degree that will eventually help get into a sports-related career. That said, I am an avid Philadelphia sports fan and love talking to people about the latest sport news and stats. I also love listening to all kinds of music, especially since I was a drummer during high school and still can't go a day without tapping out an occasional drum beat on my desk! Ever since I was a kid, I've always loved learning about the latest gizmos and tinkering with my computer. I'm also a history buff: from European to American history, I'm all over learning about the history that shaped the world that we live in today.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I strive to be the best person I can be. In a world where everybody seems to have different answers on how to be happy, I know that my Heavenly Father has prepared a way for anybody to be truly happy and joyful, for time and all eternity. I've always believed that my earthly parents want me to live the fullest and happiest life I can live. Through their example of serving the Lord and loving me with all their hearts, they have taught me what I can do to choose to be happy. I know that my Father in heaven has that same love for me that my own parents do. He has put a plan in place for that to happen. While I feel like some people might see me as an outlier and an oddity for choosing to live a life in Christ, at the end of the day the Lord has always blessed my life in more ways than I can ever imagine. I hope that through my example, just like how my parents were an example to me, that others will see that we can be happy for eternity and that our Heavenly Father loves each of his children. Through Christ's example and atonement, we can live with our Heavenly Father once more and be happy.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm blessed to be on my mission serving the amazing people of Benin and Togo for two years.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Trevor
Our Church sends missionaries for a very simple and plain reason: to bring people to Christ. Through Christ, we can experience happiness and joy in this life. Like any human being on Earth, I've experienced my fair share of trials and hard times. That being said, those trials never goes away. Yet, with Christ's guidance and love, I don't let those experiences get me down. I know that as I put forth my best effort, I can live in eternal happiness. Coming to Christ and being a faithful servant to him is the true way to experience happiness on this Earth. Because I've experienced this love from my faith in Christ, I want to share this knowledge. It's natural human instinct to have the desire to share something good in your life. So, I want to help others experience this same joy and happiness that I've felt in my life. As I see the world around me struggle to get through life, struggle to find real happiness, and struggle to find the meaning of life, I want to share the Gospel with those people. Show more Show less
