Hi I'm Danny

I've grown up in New England. I love music and spending time with family and friends. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love sports and music. I play soccer and love to play Frisbee with friends. I play the guitar, percussion, a bit of piano, ukulele, and I love to sing too! I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, wake-boarding, surfing, and more! I'm a high school graduate and will be attending college after serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ restored on the Earth today. Being born into the church, I have noticed firsthand the importance and strength of growing up on the foundation of the Gospel. As the world around me has continued to change and temptations get in the way, the church has remained constant and the path has remained straight. I have been able to overcome trials and temptations that might otherwise have put me on a different path from where I am now. As I live according to the Gospel standards, my friends realize that I am different and I am proud to be different in such a good way. Being able to build who I am off of the standards of His church has helped me to become the best person I can be and to always stand for what is right as I try my best to be an example for my friends and all those I come into contact with. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His church restored on the Earth today by Joseph Smith, the first prophet called of God in these Latter Days. I also know the Book of Mormon is true and that we have a living prophet of God on the Earth today. I know that if we study the Gospel and live according to what we learn, our lives will be blessed and we will be able to bless the lives of others as well. Through prayer and studying of the Gospel, I have learned for myself the truth of His church and love sharing that wonderful truth with others! I'm so grateful to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I always try to be an example of my beliefs throughout my life. I live according to the Gospel standards and by example I show my friends and peers what I believe in and what I stand for. I reach out to those in need and am always looking for ways to serve my community. I am an Eagle Scout and have participated in countless hours of service through my years of scouting, including building a picnic area and garden for my Eagle Project. In my church, I serve others by visiting some members each month to talk with them and see if they need any service done. I also help to teach a class for newer members each Sunday at church.
