Hi I'm Brinton

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I love music, wakeboarding, and being with the people I love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from an amazing family of five. I have one brother and one sister and a sister in law who might as well be my own sister. I love them so much! I'm studying entrepreneurship and am passionate about it. I love everything outdoorsy and especially love wakeboarding. Country music is my favorite and I always pull out my guitar to attempt to play and sing. I also love a good motorcycle ride and enjoy seeing the beauties around me. The people in my life are the most important thing to me. They're my favorite way to spend my time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a member family, but my true conversion came later. I'm a Mormon because I have grown my own testimony. I know that I can be forgiven of ANYTHING and that my Savior loves me and suffered for me specifically. My best friend's mother passed away unexpectedly when we were in the eighth grade. It was extremely hard watching him go through everything. When he left to serve a mission, that's when I decided what was important to me. Family is the most important thing to me and I know families can be together forever. I decided to serve a mission because I want everyone to know that this is not the end. I didn't take two years of my life to prove my belief or share something I don't believe in or live. I'm not perfect, but through the most precious gift we've been given, the Atonement, I can be forgiven and I have been given the most amazing opportunity to share the blessings I have felt in my own life.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm a missionary and learning that I have so much more to learn. I live my faith by loving those around me and helping them to be their best selves. One awesome experience I had was serving as a special needs counselor in my community. I had a special needs buddy and he taught me more about loving others than I could imagine. He taught me that loving others isn't necessarily through words. I live my faith by the way I treat others every day.

Are Mormons Christians?

You betcha! My life is all about Jesus Christ! That's why I wear His name on my chest every day as a missionary. Without him, we'd all be hopeless sinners. Jesus Christ is the one and only begotten Son and suffered for ME specifically. He suffered for all us of each individually. Jesus Christ is my best friend, my brother, and my Savior. Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Adam was that men might be, and men are that they might have joy, right? Heavenly Father loves all of his children and wants our eternal happiness. There is NO other way I could be happy than to be with those I love forever. I love my family so much and I'm so excited for my future family. With a love so deep and a plan so great, it doesn't end here. Love is an eternal principle and I know that I'll be with those I love forever. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Mormons proselyte because they want everyone everywhere to know of the happiness they have. I heard a quote once, "A missionary is someone who leaves their family and loved ones for a time so others can live with theirs forever." Personally, I'm a missionary and I proselyte because I can't imagine a single person not having the knowledge of life after death. That knowledge, that love, and that promise gives life meaning. We have been blessed with so much so why should we not share those blessings with others. The circle goes on and on because when we share, we in turn are blessed with even more. We are enthusiastic and ready to share our greatest blessings with all of God's children. That is why we proselyte. Show more Show less
