Hi I'm Tanner Grenko

I grew up in Utah. I love filming as much as I love the gospel, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

A little about me is I have two wonderful parents who love me so much. I have two older brothers, and one younger brother if you count my dog. Some things that I love to do is filming short movies with my friends. Also, I love to sing music from two specific musicals which are Phantom of the Opera, and Les Miserable. I also love to sing music with the style of Frank Sinatra or Michael Bublé. I am on a Ballroom Dance touring team and am very proud to be apart of the program. I am attending college to get my major in Film and Cinematography. I look up to my brothers so much as a great example. My oldest is big into competition and he will not go down in any competition without a fight. My other brother is very talented in Business and money and understands that to a high degree.

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I didn't understand much growing up other than the fact that I felt really happy everytime that I was at church. Sometimes as a 7 year old, church didn't always sound as fun as staying home and playing with my toys, but as I got older I realized the importance of learing how to be an example of Jesus Christ. I recognized that while I was at church, I would always have a feeling of peace. When I had reached an age to understand the doctrines of Christ, I decided to search the scriptures to understand why I felt so happy. I came to a conclusion that as we strive to be an example of Christ, we can feel our love that our Heavenly Father has for us. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

How I love to live my faith is trying to follow the example of Jesus Christ. In his life, he was able to be a servant of our Heavenly Father. For the 33 years he was on the Earth, he had a mission to preach our fathers word to everyone he saw. As I strive to live in the light of our Savior Jesus Christ, I too have chosen to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Also, with my passion for singing, I love to sing hymns. It is a wonderful way to invite a warm spirit wherever I am.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Tanner Grenko
A testimony is having a personal knowledge of Christ and his doctrine from what someone has experienced or felt. A testimony helps us in our daily lives to know that Jesus is our Savior and Redeemer. It is a spiritual witness of what someone knows. Many people believe that we cannot "know" these things without seeing them; however, with faith in Christ and a testimony of Him, we can know the truth of all things. Show more Show less
