Hi I'm William Hyde

I grew up in Utah. I'm just a regular guy. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a normol 19 year old kid. I love to play football and be with my friends. I like learning (when I feel it's applicable) I went to college for one year I was just studying generals I'm still uncertain what field I would like to go into. I love to meet new people and make friends. If you look at me I'm probably going to say hi and talk to ya.

Why I am a Mormon

I was just a regular kid. I was born in the church but never applied anything I've learned. I did whatever I wanted. Then one day I felt like I should pray. I was unhappy and I needed something more in my life, I didn't know what it was at the time, but I knew I needed more. So, I prayed I asked God what can I do? How can I be Truly happy? I got an answer almost immediatly. I had a really good friend that told me the next day I should read the Book of Mormon. I had skimmed through it but never actually read it and obsorbed it. I started to read I was filled with a feeling that I had not felt in a long time. I knew that I had done some pretty dumb things and I needed to ask for forgivenss. I knew that I had holes in my life that no other mortal thing could fill. The lord reached down and pulled me up and lifted me up. I knew he was there for me. He is always there for me. I know that this gospel is true. Our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ loves us and wants us to be happy. He is just waiting for us to open the door so that eh can bless us. He hears us and he loves us. I am truly happy now. Because of this gospel and its truthfulness. Now I am serving the Lord and trying to help people realize that they are not alone in this world. They have the greatest alli of all time. All you have to do is ask and ye shall recieve, knock and it shall be open unto you.

How I live my faith

I help my community by doing some farm work for some of the old farmers. Our church has something called "sacrament for the homebound" it's when we take the sacrament to the elderly who can't make it to church so we bring church to them. Alot of the times the people really just want someone to talk to. I remember one time me and another boy, sat and talked to this old couple for about two hours. That day we were out visting these old people for about five hours. Living in a small town is amazing! You get to know everyone and their family! In our church we organize dinners and parties and so on. Right now how I live my faith is I am Giving, two years of my life to go out and share this message with others. The only communication that I have with my friends and family is through hand written letters and emails.
