Hi I'm Dylan

I served in the California Ventura Mission for a month! Now I'm serving my mission in Puebla, Mexico! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love sports! I'm an avid tennis player, and I love watching hockey (Go Caps!) I like LOTR and all of that kind of nerdy stuff. I have the amazing opportunity to serve in two missions. I served in California Ventura Mission, and now I'm serving in the Mexico Puebla South mission! I'm so excited to be doing what the Lord would have me do! I have completed one year of school at Boise State University in Idaho. I am a Criminal Justice major, and I absolutely love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love this church! I grew up in the gospel, but it isn't necessarily because of my parents that I choose to follow the church's teachings. In every commandment given, I see great wisdom. Following the commandments not only gives one spiritual blessings, but physical ones as well. For example, we are commanded to not drink alcohol or coffee. I remain healthy physically because these substances are harmful to the body. I remain spiritually healthy because I am aware of the spirit and the things it is trying to teach me. I love the fact that my church teaches that families can be together for eternity. This church also has the same structure as Christ's church. We have a prophet and 12 apostles. These men give us council about our day and age. The church also teaches that we are here on Earth to become more like our Father in Heaven, and that we have the opportunity to become like Him and have worlds of our own. We grow up physically to become like our parents, why wouldn't we grow up to be like our spiritual parents as well?

How I live my faith

I love living my faith! I take every opportunity to serve others when help is needed. I constantly strive to grow closer to my Father in Heaven, and do everything I can to remain close to Him. I'm so blessed to be serving a mission to bring others to the gospel of Jesus Christ!
