Hi I'm Alice

I'm 20 years old, I'm a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University. I enjoy reading and writing fiction, painting, and playing the piano. I love being with my family and spending time with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to this church so for awhile it was mostly because it was what I was raised with. Then the youth of our church were given the challenge to read The Book of Mormon for five minutes and to pray morning and night every day. That challenge changed my life. Gradually, I gained a testimony. I didn't realize it at first, but one day as I heard other people bearing witness of this gospel I knew that I knew it was true. I now know for sure that this is God's church. I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know that God loves all of us and that He will do all He can to help us return to Him.

How I live my faith

I am trying to recognize the opportunities in the day I have to do simple acts of service. I try each day to be better and to come closer to my Heavenly Father.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons do not only serve each other. The church donates much time and money in humanitarian aid. At the local level the only reason members might not serve people outside the church is because they do not know that someone needs help. We love to serve others and serve anyone who needs it.
