To describe me in 3 words ... I am a Fashion-Poser-Fun guy. I love to have style, to pose and to have fun whilst driving. Peace!

About Me

Loving Cherry Coke and to say innit?! And I'm a Guernsey donkey for life! I'm 20. I'm a special person(this is what my mum says).I'm living the moment! (wisely of course!) ... Living the Romanian dream!! I have to admit it. Loving rugby but playing football! I support Petrolul Ploiesti with all of my heart! (my favourite football team) Traveling is the business! In fact, I love it! I went to Germany, Tunisia, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and I use to go to Spain every year to visit my dad because of some unexpected issues. My parents divorced. But is ok! They both have new families now. So my dad's side lives in Spain, they are not members of The Church, but my mum's side lives in Romania and they rejoice with me being members of the true Church. I have 2 sisters, 2 brothers (twins) and 1 stepsister. I am the oldest (bless me).Went to high school and right now living the dream as a Mormon Missionary in the UK, London South Mission ! I just love geography! I wanna walk in every single country! Planning to take over the USA soon. I love to party! ... to watch me when I'm dancing is the best thing to do. You will never stop laughing. I love to smile and laugh with people. I am a funny guy and I love to make fun of everything. BUT when business time comes, I am very serious..sometimes scary serious! I would love to drive in a lime green Mini Cooper on the coast of Hawaii. I do not endure till the end. I enjoy till the end. ELSM Represent !

Why I am a Mormon

I am so blessed to be part of the Church that Jesus Christ established when He was on the Earth. It is amazing how God is working with his children. To be a Mormon is the best. But let me tell you Why I am Mormon. I am not a smart person who knows everything about religions and stuff like this, but what I know to be true, I know. For me it is important to always rely on the Scriptures, which means to trust God and do what He asks us to do so. It is important to always do God's will, not mine. For me it is important to ask God about anything. Even when you know something to be true, just double check with God. Ask for a confirmation. So, this is what I did. For myself, it made so much sense that this Church is the Church that Jesus Christ established when He was on the Earth. Why? Because first of all it is founded on a living Prophet and his Apostles, The Church is called after Jesus Christ and is led by Jesus Christ, the Church has Patriarchs and Quorums of Seventies, etc. Everything that is in the Bible, the same organization that Jesus Christ had when He was on the Earth. So, it made so much sense.I knew it! But was it enough? ... well,no. The missionaries asked me to pray about The Book of Mormon, they asked me to pray about The Restoration and Joseph Smith, they asked me ask God, because He is the one who has to confirm everything. He is our Father. He is suppose to answer our prayers. So, I did it. I prayed and I knew it. So, I am a Mormon because is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what the Lord asks me to do so. I am not perfect, but God is not asking for perfection. God asked us to come to him with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. My religion is beautiful. I can compare it with life, with education. If I am doing my best to learn and to be a good person in the community, to work hard to earn a living, I am going to succeed. Same with God. If I am doing my best to follow his commandments and to do what he asks me to do so, I can have God by my side to always help me to overcome problems. And yes, I can say with all of my heart that when I am following the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ, I have God on my side and I succeed in everything I am doing. Also, right now I am serving a full time mission in London South Mission for 2 years. It is amazing to do exactly the same things that the Apostles of Jesus Christ did when they were the on the Earth. To Preach the Gospel is a huge blessing for me as a 20 years old boy because it makes me a REAL MAN! I am an honest man. It is not enough just believe. There is more to faith. Action is my favourite part of this Gospel. Go and do it. The Lord says in Doctrine and Covenants 82:10: ''I, the Lord, am abound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise.'' ''Today be better than yesterday. Tomorrow be better than today.'' - Elder Andrei Popa

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Andrei Popa
We can find in the Holy Scripture that we all have to Preach the Gospel if we want to receive more blessings. It is an important step to achive happiness. Mormon Missionaries are proselyting because they want to share with the others what they have. They want to share the happiness and the blessings they receive from this wonderful Gospel. Also, by being a missionary you can also progress and you can learn a lot of stuff. While you are doing this thing, you can learn more, you can know how to talk with people and how to became more confindent in the future. Mormon missionaries are proselyting just for 2 years for boys, or 18 months for girls. They are here learning how to became a strong person in this world. The main reason of doing this is because Mormon missionaries, wants to became more close to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They do not have to go and serve a mission, they can choose. What is faith?

Andrei Popa
Faith is something that you canot see. That's why it is so amazing! Faith is helping you to work on what you want to achieve! The cool part about it is that IF you have faith and IF you do something to have what you want, you can have it. The Book of Mormon talks about it in 1 Nephi 15:11: '' Do ye not remember the things which the Lord hath said?—If ye will not harden your hearts, and ask me in faith, believing that ye shall receive, with diligence in keeping my commandments, surely these things shall be made known unto you. '' Easy. 4 easy steps. 1. Do not harden your hearts 2. Ask God 3. Believe in it 4. Keep the commandments Faith is leading you to action. Just do it. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Andrei Popa
Well..this is an interesting question if we look at it from far. But let's analyse it now. First, our bodies are like temples. They are gifts given from our Father in Heaven. And he asked us to take care of them. So, as a easy conclusion, we must take care what we are doing to them or what we put in them. Secondly, alcohol, coffee, tea and tobacco are killing us. Even on a pack of cigarettes says: SMOKING KILLS. So, be wise and don't kill yourself. On the other hand, if you drink, you start to lose your self control, which of course it is not good..because you have no idea what you are doing sometimes. I think it is a huge test for us to see how strong we are. And we are tested to see if our faith is big enough. Thirdly, we do believe in LIVING and MODERN Prophets. And this commandment was revealed to us through the Prophet Joseph Smith. So, now, is up to us what we want to do. I choose to stay away from this things. I choose to stay pure. Show more Show less
