Hi I'm Paul

Student at Brigham Young University called to serve in the New York, New York South mission speaking Mandarin.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University studying physics. I love sports, specifically basketball. I also love music, playing it, listening, all of it! I have a big family which I love very much, and I'm pretty sure they love me... maybe. I just received a mission call to serve in the New York, New York South mission, speaking Mandarin. I am so excited and grateful for this opportunity to share my faith and serve the people of New York.

Why I am a Mormon

Many generations of my family were mormon so I was born into the faith. As I grew older and learned more, my faith became more than just what my parents taught me. After reading the Book of Mormon, learning about Jesus Christ, and seeing many great examples in family members and neighbors, I gained a personal testimony. I continue to learn and grow everyday, and my understanding of the gospel also expands. The reason I love this gospel is because it is full of love. Love is what drives everything that is good in this world, and some of the purest love is found in this gospel. I am also a mormon because God is good and power of Christ's atonement strengthens me everyday.

How I live my faith

Deciding to serve a mission was one way of showing that I want to live my faith. This gospel means so much to me, and I want to share it with others. In the mean time I hope to fulfill my callings at church and serve those in my family and those around me. I also live my faith by being a disciple of Christ. For me, being a disciple of Christ means that I represent his name well, and do things that he would do. He showed us the way, and I try to follow that path. I aim to show kindness and love, to live worthily, and to show others the path as well.
