Hi I'm Dayley

My name is Dayley and I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah. I love this Gospel. I love spending time with friends and family.

About Me

Some of my favorite things to do are to play the piano, sing, hang out with my friends and family, watch movies, listen to music and go to concerts, go shopping, go boating, wakeboarding, snowboarding, cliff jumping, golfing, exercising, star gazing, and playing sports. I love summer! I have gone to college for 3 years but recently have decided to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

The greatest gift that I could give any of you is for you to know the truthfulness of this gospel. I would just like to share my testimony. With all the energy that I possess in my body, I know without a doubt that this gospel is true. The Holy Ghost has manifested the truthfulness unto me through a burning feeling that has immersed my whole body with warmth and peace. Christ will save us! He sent his only begotten son to die for us and to atone for all of our sins so that we can be saved. He knows with a perfect knowledge each trial and challenge that we have faced, will face, and will yet face. He knows what we are feeling! He loves us so much! He can lift our burdens if we let him. He will carry us across the sand of our trials; he will never leave us comfortless. All we have to do is turn to him and ask in faith. This gospel was restored by Joseph Smith in these latter days. President Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet that leads and guides us today. The temple is the House of God. It is where we can be sealed with our families forever. That knowledge that we have the opportunity to see the ones that we love that have died and passed through the veil brings me so much hope and peace. Death is not the end it is just the beginning. The Book of Mormon is true! It is the word of God and another testament of Christ! Every time I read it I feel peace, comfort, guidance, God’s love, direction, happy, and it gives me more self confidence in myself. I know that you will find that truth, and that you will receive an answer to your prayers if you take the time and read the Book of Mormon and take the challenge that is given in Moroni 10:3-5. If you will ask God if these things are true with a sincere heart and real intent I know with all my heart that Christ will manifest the truth of these unto you. I have taken this challenge and I have received an answer. I say these things in the sacred name of Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

Throughout my Young Women’s career I have had many callings that have helped me become the person that I am today. It has helped me grow and learn more about myself and my testimony of this gospel. I was Beehive, MiaMaid, and Laurel president and many of the other callings in between. I learned the president’s calling when I was a beehive, but it didn’t really hit me of the importance of being a leader and loving the girls unconditionally. It is so important to accept people for who they are, and to always be a good example to them. While serving the girls, they were amazing examples to me. They served me and I gained more than I have ever thought imaginable. The testimonies that the girls had and shared with me strengthened my testimony. I made so many incredible friends and created memories that I will always cherish. This past Christmas I helped put together a ward Christmas program. It was such an amazing calling. It helped us all remember the true meaning and center of Christmas which is Christ. Recently I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach 6-7 year olds about this remarkable gospel! I love each of the members of my class. They have such a powerful and sweet spirit and I am astonished by their testimonies and the strength that have! I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have to serve in the Church. I love serving others. It has brought so much joy and happiness! I can’t wait to continue my service in the church!
