Hi I'm Jacob

I grew up in California. I was deployed to Afghanistan and am now a professor of marriage and family therapy.

About Me

I have four kids and a wonderful wife. I teach about marriage and family therapy and enjoy working with people who can benefit from the knowledge I've gained throughout my career. I served in the National Guard and was deployed in 2008 to Afghanistan. I enjoy watching movies and reading science fictions novels in my spare time.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into a Mormon family, I quickly realized growing up in California that we were a minority and that I would need to find out for myself whether I was doing the right thing. I'm happy to report that after proving the principles through prayer and action that I am confident with my choice. Being a Mormon allows me to grow closer to my Savior and provides me with resources to raise a righteous family.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving every day to be as much like the Savior as possible and by striving to serve others. I work with the youth in my area to accomplish boy scout objectives and to help them learn to live honorable lives.
