Hi I'm Kerensa

I am a high-schooler who loves drawing, and I love being a mormon.

About Me

I am a high-schooler who loves music (and yes I am soooo a cat person). I am in the pepband so my schedule is very crazy, with going to school, oboe lessons and all the football games that aren't on Sunday. On top of that I go to one extra class, seminary... that means getting up at 5:00 am every weekday morning, no matter when you went to bed. It is worth it though, to be able to learn about the scriptures every day is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! (plus seeing your friends every day before school is pretty cool too)

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon for my whole life and i would never want to be anything else. I know with all my of my teenage heart that my redeemer lives and that this church is real. Joseph Smith was, and is a true prophet, and so is our current one, President Monson. I know that my heavenly father knows me by name, knows my weaknesses and my strengths, knows what my potential is and how I will get there. I know that he will never try to hurt me or harm me, he will only stretch me to my wits end, then help will come right when I think all hope is lost.

How I live my faith

I try to live my standards at school and in public. I am one of the few young women in my ward, so some times it isn't so easy, but I make it through a day at a time. I try to go every Sunday to church, and every Wednesday to my activities only after asking my freinds if they would like come with me.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The word of wisdom is the directions from heavenly father of how to take care of and maintian our bodies. They include: not drinking alcohol, not partaking of drugs (examples: cocain, marajwana, tabacco, etc.), not drinking coffee, tea, or caffeine, keeping your bodies well exercizes and nutritionalized, and staying modest in all thoughts, actions, and speech. Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

No one really founded the church except Jesus Christ himself. Joseph Smith on the other hand restored it to the earth by the power of god after it had been taken away by the power of god and translated the Book of Mormon so that we may have it in these days as another testament of Christ.
