Hi I'm Jane

I'm an avid Pacific North-westerner. I'm a runner, walker, hiker and sports player. I'm a college student. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been attending college for two years studying History Education - I want to teach Juniors and Seniors in high school. There's nothing better than studying what you love with the people you love. I got married last summer and I am constantly amazed by what the Lord has blessed us with since we've made that decision. I grew up playing various sports and thrived on them, but my first choice will always be volleyball. I crave the outdoors and adventure and take every opportunity I can to get outside. Whether it's running, hiking, walking or biking, there's therapeutic power in exercise and fresh air! I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where the air smells sweet and there's green in every direction - it's absolutely my favorite place on earth. I love my husband, family, friends and dog. The Lord has blessed my life in unspeakable and undeniable ways and I am forever grateful. Life is good. Really good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born Mormon. And I don't just mean that I was born into a Mormon family. From my childhood, I've been an active member, and I haven't doubted once. There have been hard times, but there's nothing that could shake my belief in the existence of a God who loves us and His son who died so that we can return to live with them.

How I live my faith

There's something about making the right decision that brings a smile to your face, am I right? This simple truth is how I choose to live my life. I love to be happy and, in my mind, there's only one way to accomplish that. Not only can our correct decisions effect our own lives, but it can effect the lives of all those around you. I strive to live my life in a way that others can be improved by. I definitely have a long way to go, but I know that simply living by the Lord's teachings, I can get closer every day.
