Hi I'm Carol Nielson

I grew up in New Mexico. I'm number 16 of 16 children. I am a full time missionary and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time mission in the Texas San Antonio Mission the mighty TSAM. I have put my college career on hold for 18 months so that I can invite others to come unto Christ. I am enjoying this time in my life that have to fully dedicate my time and talents to the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the true restored gospel of Jesus Christ and you can find complete truths in it that you can't find anywhere else. Through being a member I learn more each day what it means to have faith in my Savior Jesus Christ and have a hope for something much bigger than myself. It defintely has given me a bigger purpose in my own life and it helps me discover more of my potential each day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first getting up each morning and thanking my Heavenly Father for letting me wake up to another day. Then I put on my name tag and go out trying to help others in their struggle to come closer to the Savior. I try my hardest to especially look for those who are in need, but when it comes down to it we are all in need. I try my hardest to represent the Savior to the best of my ability.

What is faith?

Carol Nielson
Faith is an action and in order to complete that action you have to have hope. Hope and faith are linked to each other and its hard to have one if you don't have the other. Faith can look like many things in our lives. It can be not knowing what decision you should make but making a decision anyway, it can be believing in something you don't have a perfect knowledge of, or many more things. Show more Show less
