Hi I'm Analisa

Originally from New Zealand. I have a wonderful big family who I would do anything for. Currently building up Zion.

About Me

I come from a big family, being the eldest of eight. I have five brothers and two sisters. We were all born in New Zealand before we moved to Australia a few years ago. I enjoy playing netball and volleyball. I love music and just being able to be around my family and friends because they are what matter the most to me. That, and being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is what keeps my family the tight bond that we are.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been brought up in the church. Even then, I have had to know for myself, if being a mormon is something I would strive to be. The reason why I continue to be faithful and have a desire to serve a mission, is beacause I have seen the peace and happiness this gospel brings to me and my family. Growing up, I use to go church because thats what my parents did. Went to the activities because my parents told me to. As time went by, I went to church activities because I wanted to. I started going to church because I wanted to. I would feel incomplete if I didnt go church on a sunday. My attitude changed because I was gaining my own faith. I know where we came from, my purpose on earth, and where we are going. That is what keeps me striving to be that example, be the best person i can be, and live what I learn. I know that this gospel blesses families. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father that is always mindful of us, and want us to return to him. I can see that when I do the right things, I am blessed. Being a mormon is a great blessing to me. We all come from different backgrounds and upbringings, but with the Gospel, we are all the same.

How I live my faith

I have a lovely ward in Melbourne where I use to teach the primary class and participate in fun activities with my friends at church. The way I live my faith is by trying to be the best example to my siblings and friends. The things we are taugh in church are of no use, if we dont act on it. Im the only mormon with all my friends, so showing them I can still have fun and go church was really important to me. I am also serving my mission in Adelaide, building Zion. My family and I have been so blessed, that I wanted to dedicate some of my time to serve the Lord. My faith and knowledge of this Gospel has brought me such happiness, it only makes sense I go out and share it.
