Hi I'm Janet

I'm a Mother and Grandmother. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-Day Saints, that's a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mother of six and Grandmother of twelve. I LOVE to travel and have been to all 50 states as well as Canada, Mexico, England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Australia. I also enjoy meeting new people. At home, my hobbies are gardening, cooking, reading, and many areas of sewing especially crocheting. Living close to many national and state parks allows me time to be in the outdoors enjoying all the beauties and wonders of nature.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that I am a child of God and that He loves me. The knowledge this gospel gives me of where I was before I came to earth, why I am here , and where I will go after this life gives me great peace in this troubled world. The gospel has given my life purposeful direction which I hope to be able to share with others.

How I live my faith

I have participated in many positions in my community as well as my ward. Throughout my life it seems I have always been involved in music. I began teaching youth to sing and later to accompany them on the piano. Currently I am serving as an organist in my ward. I have also served in teaching positions to the youth as well as the teen-age young women. In recent years I held a position which gave me the opportunity to organize monthly meetings for the ladies in our ward to learn various homemaking skills. This I really enjoyed. My husband and I are preparing to serve as missionaries in the near future where we can share what our Church believes in.
