Hi I'm Meagan

I am a missionary. I love learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 21 years old and have been to college and have graduated from Massage Therapy School. I haven't always been active in the gospel of Jesus Christ but from life lessons and trials, I have learned that trusting in the Lord and allowing His help in my life has had a profound impact on my life. The blessings I have received from being a part of this church, an organization that is so amazing, has been by far the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have met life-long friends and have met some tremendous people through my service in this church. I love my life, my family, and above all I love the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandmother met a man who invited her to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and two months later my grandmother was baptized and a few months after that my mother was baptized. I am grateful for the actions of these two amazing women. Life wasn't always easy growing up. My mother was a single parent of six kids and life was tough sometimes. With the influence of the gospel in my life I have been able to stay on a path that will lead me to happiness. With the Lord's guidance I have made important decisions which has lead me to meet some really great people and helped me make the decision to serve a mission. I am a Mormon because it was my decision to come to church. Developing a testimony is a process and it starts with the simplest step of listening to the teachings of the gospel and allowing Heavenly Father to come into your heart and bless you with the knowledge that I have received. This gospel is true. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth today. We can be forever with our families throughout eternity and the best blessings come through serving others and serving the Lord.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am so grateful for this calling and to be able to serve in this capacity. I am learning a new language and am experiencing so many knew things and it has strengthened my faith by taking this opportunity to serve the Lord. So far in this journey I have learned to love people and recognize in them that they are a son or daugther of God and they have great worth in the sight of the Lord. I learned that learning a new language is challenging but there is one univeral language that can communicate to everyone and that is the Spirit and if I allow myself to be guided by the Spirit, I can be a great tool in inviting others to come unto Christ. I love this gospel and I know that missionary work can change lives, especially the life of the missionary and what a wonderful blessing that is!
