Hi I'm Joshua

I'm a recent college graduate laboring to provide for my wife and our four kids.

About Me

I am an intern architect, working to become a licensed architect someday. I have a wife, two sons, and two daughters. I also enjoy writing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the Book of Mormon, and believe that only a man of God could have brought about such a marvelous work that teaches nothing more than good values and faith in Christ. Every element of the Gospel is so beautiful and logical to me, that I believe that every open-minded person would gladly accept it if they simply knew what I have learned. The Restored Gospel is incredible to me, and the Church is the Lord's Kingdom, and vehicle of truth in these days.

How I live my faith

My faith envelops and influences every aspect of my life. I try to be clean and kind like Jesus would want, and I teach my children to do the same. I want to be worthy to inherit eternal life through Christ's atonement. I'm not perfect, but God is patient, and I am improving.

What is faith?

Faith is a beautiful combination of obedience and hope. It is spiritual knowledge that can grow within us as we feed it by obeying God and recognizing His blessings in our lives. We initiate our personal faith by hoping that the beautiful Gospel is true or that God loves us, or that He lives. It grows by each step we take in following God's plan. Although very real, like love, it is unseen by physical eyes, and uncomprehensible to those who do not have it. To develop your faith, begin by making a habit of daily prayer and scripture study. Incorporate Christ-like attributes of patience, service, and honesty into your character. Rid yourself of all un-cleanness, as defined by the Ten Commandments, and Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. Your faith will grow, and you will feel God's love for you. Show more Show less
