Hi I'm Brian Ortiz

I am a musician, songwriter, hard worker, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I have been playing the violin for about seven years. Making and playing music is my passion and I plan on doing it for the rest of my life. I am very easy going and love doing various things like hiking, taking long walks along the beach, or hanging out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I decided for myself that I was going to follow God's path. He knows what is best for me and I will always try my best to listen to his promptings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reminding myself each day the reason I'm here on Earth. That reason is to learn, grow, and experience new things in life. Our greatest example was our Savior and I try to live according to His teachings every day.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

Brian Ortiz
Self-reliance is important to Mormons because it gives us more personal independence, a good work ethic, and self-respect. Mormons talk about emergency preparedness because we must always have a backup plan in case of emergencies. Show more Show less
