Hi I'm Rebekah

I live in England, I'm a physiotherapist and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love life, and have been blessed greatly. I work as a physiotherapist in my local community of which I thoroughly enjoy. I specialise in treating patients with Chronic Respiratory conditions and help them to improve their quality of life. I marvel at the change in an individuals outlook as they gain confidence and see improvement in their life. When I'm not at work I enjoy a variety of sporting activities and often enjoy going running or cycling or just getting out into the country side for a walk.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ a part of my life. My parents joined the church way before I was even born, so you may say I have never known any different way. I say I have grown up in light and truth. Over the years I have had to gain a testimony of my own in God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Restored Gospel. This hasn't occurred as a one off event, it's been a process of learning, understanding, questioning, prayer, confirmation by the Spirit of the Lord that these things are true. As I have gained knowledge and then acted upon the things that I have learnt, I have received enlightenment, a knowledge and testimony that these things are true. A sense of peace and happiness in my life. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I Believe the values and teachings of the Gospel are reflected in who I am, how I interact with others and how I conduct my life. I try to live a life that is filled with goodness and brings happiness to all that I meet, whether this be in my work place or in my personal life. I have for several years been involved with the Youth programme at church for 12-18 year olds; teaching the youth principles that will guide them throughout their life as well as organising fun activities and camps. We have a lot of fun!
