Hi I'm Garrett Hair

I grew up in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada and go to school at BYU-Idaho. I love the love I feel being a mormon.

About Me

Currently I am a college student at BYU-Idaho and I'm loving life. I am studying Biology to eventually go to medical school. I want to become a radiologist one day. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and I love it. I can also play the trumpet pretty well. I love to study and learn more about what is going on around me. I hope that I can make a difference in someone else's life! I've served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the beautiful city of São Paulo Brazil. I love the people there and was able to make eternal friendships there. I speak fluent portuguese and continue to talk to those whom I met in Brazil. Right now I am studying very hard to accomplish my goals in life and I know that everyone can with the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a mormon home so naturally I too followed the gospel plan. It wasn't always easy being a mormon because of my friends who would sometimes antagonize me, but I can tell you that I am happy because the choice I made to be a "mormon" or a follower of Jesus Christ. This is His church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old and it was the best decision that I have made in my life. As I have grown up and matured I have realized the extent of what I did when I was a mere 8 years old. I know that it is a saving ordinance and I am so very thankful for that. I have studied and prayed about this gospel and I know it to be true. Anyone can receive an answer to their prayers and God is waiting to answer yours, all you need to do is open up to Him and He will show you the way that leads to eternal life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going out and trying to do good continually. The Savior served everyone, He loved His enemies. I try and make that my motto. I am trying to love everyone and help them out to the best of my ability. I serve in my local ward doing various tasks to help with the work that is involved and I try and do that with all my heart. It is not enough just to believe. You have to live the gospel because that is what it is all about.
