Hi I'm Kathryn

I grew up in Minnesota in a loving family of 6, I served an LDS mission in Kentucky. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a family of 6, 3 brothers and me. Now we have 3 cats that I was just told about from our previous 2 and my grandmother even lives at home, our family keeps growing! I grew up an only girl, but my brothers made it fun and interesting the whole way. I did 6 years of swimming, I play the violin and piano, I did color guard, and I was in musical...I try everything, food, sports, etc. I'm game. I attended BYU-Idaho for a year and studied biology, I switched to Exercise Physiology and I'm loving it! I served in the GKLM(Great Kentucky Louisville Mission)! I loved it and am so grateful to have served the Lord in this way.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon to be an example. I stay Mormon because it brings me closer to my family and my Savior. I grew up a Mormon, I never doubted if the church was true, I just always knew. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and helped restore Christ's church upon the Earth, and that he translated the Book of Mormon with the help of our Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that it works hand in hand with the Bible. By continuing to follow the example of Christ, I study my scriptures, I serve others, and I pray to my Father in Heaven to know what He needs me to do and follow President Monson, the prophet and leader of the Savior's church on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

Well, back home in Minnesota, I was a Primary teacher, I taught the Sunbeams, the 4 year olds. I loved it so much, I also helped out in the Nursery, kids 3 and younger. Here at school, I am a Visiting teaching supervisor, pretty much people call me and tell me if they visited the woment they were assigned and a ward missionary, I go out and practice teaching the students in the ward as if I was on a mission. When I was in the youth, I served on a youth committee and helped organize events for kids 12-18, I found it lots of fun! We would do dances, service events, and build the faith of the youth, and now I'm serving an 18 month mission in Kentucky and I'm loving every minute of it!
