Hi I'm Karina

I'm a homeschooled teenager who loves music, dance, family history, and reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live on a mini farm which includes lots of chickens, some goats, two dogs, two cats, and five other kids which I'm the oldest of. I love reading and writing, playing the voilin and piano, and dancing. I also enjoy walking my dog, doing family history, and of course hanging out with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and continue to strengthen my testimony through it. I love having a living prophet today who gives guidance. I also strongly believe in personal revelation and am so grateful for the Holy Ghost and the help and love I'm able to find through him.

How I live my faith

I am one of a few Mormons in a service club for high schoolers called ASTRA. We participate in various community service. I'm president of a group of girls in church who are ages 14 & 15. This means I'm there for the girls to help and suport them, and to help plan activities. I attend an early morning class where we study the scriptures including the Bible. I enjoy doing family history and learning more about my ancestors.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Karina
A testimony is an acknowledgement of gospel principles that you believe or know is true. A testimony is a spiritual witness that comes through the Holy Ghost as confirmation of what is true. A testimony changes and grows with new excpirences that you have. No ones testimony is the same as anyone eles. Show more Show less
